Searching for a marriage of Thomas Brindley born 1858 at Cashel, Tipperary. The marriage will most probably have been between 1875 and 1888.

Hi...went searching for you and firstly went searching in North and South Tipperary and came up with nothing. Then I searched in all of Ireland and found 1 marriage for a Thomas Brindley 1883 in Dublin. Found this on http://ifhf.rootsireland.ie
The surnames, which I am interested in are; Maternal side: Ryan, Kevin, Grant, Grady, Gleeson, Walsh, Dwyer, Paternal side: O' Dwyer, Woodlock, Rochford & Britton - all in Tipperary; and Kelly and Hoynes in Laois.

Ryan, Campbell, Luttrell, Grant, Grahame, Bainbridge and Brown in Queensland, Australia

Tighe in Victoria, Australia.

Grant in Philadelphia, Sullivan and Penny in New York; and Britton in Connecticut

Thomas Brindley was my Great Grandfather, he was born in Cashel, Tipperary in 1858. He left his father's farming business and joined the army and was posted to India, he was in the 2nd Afghan War. In India he was posted at MHOW. He was married to Christina Myner, he may have married in India as I have a birth certificate of a non-surviving daughter, Rebecca. Christina gave birth to my grandfather, another Thomas, in Charlton London when staying with Christina's parents. When posted back to England Thomas snr. was a Sergeant in the Durham Light Infantry and lived at Barnard Castle. Christina, my great grandmother did not survive long after my grandfather was born, TB was a noteable killer in the Myner family.

Thomas Brindley  age 30 son of John married Christina Myner age 21 dtr of William
in M'How, Bengal ,India 26 April 1888 down below the brides name it says widowed but do not know which of them it is referring to.

Birth in M'How 31 March 1889
Christina Rebecca Brindley

Christening in Parochial Chapelry,Barnard Castle,Durham ,England.
Anne Amelia Brindley. 18 April 1894.

John Nicholson son of Nathan married Mary Anne Brindley dtr Thomas
23 Dec 1856 Ballysheehan,Tipperary. probably the parents of William Nicholson the grandson of the Brindley's.
