Prenderville could be spelt many ways including, Prinitable, Prendiville, Prendeville (etc).  Their first child, that we know of, was born in 1864 in St Michaels, Limerick City.  We believe they are both from Limerick.  Any help tracing their marriage and origins greatly appreciated.

Civil registration for births didn't commence until 1864, so I've taken that into account from your post ("their first child, that we know of") to speculate the possibility of an earlier marriage date.

Anyway, a search of the 'RootsIreland' website index brings back a potential 'hit' in terms of a transcribed church marriage record for a Thomas Prendible and a Margaret Meagner (these names as recorded by the RootsIreland website, ie. possibly mispellings or mistranscription.) It took place in Co. Limerick in 1854, in St. John's RC parish.

Record content is pay to view but if you don't know already, be advised that church records of this era may not offer up much additional information (eg. from playing around with the search index, I'm more sure than less sure that the bride and groom's father's names aren't recorded).

Might be worth noting until you can rule in or out.

Thank you Gaffy ... Useful to know that little is offered on marriage records by way of parent info. A shame ... But useful nonetheless.  Looks like even if they are our ancestors there's nowhere further to go with it.

Thanks again.  Much appreciated.
