BLOMFIELD in Great Ashfield

Hi. Can anyone help? I have Dennis Blomfield b c1818 in Ashfield,  I think his mother is Mary Blomfield b1796 Great Ashfield, her mother is possibly Susan Blomfield 1777 b Great Ashfield and her parents are William and Mary. Can not find birth or marriage for William and Mary so pethaps they moved in or the records on line do not go back far enough.

Does anyone have any info please.

I seem to remember a website somewhere which mentioned the Bloomfields actually went with the bride's surname rather than the groom's at some point, but I don't know anything more. I can't remember which parish that was in.

Denis is my wifes GGGrandfather. I would be grateful for any information you have.

We have a copy of Marys bastardy bond and his history beyond, but have found no further evidence of her. How did you connect to Susan who is one of our possibles but we also have a possible from Norton?

Denis birth is 30 Jan 1817.
