Thomas Liddle marriage

Hi

Is anyone able to access Sunderland Registrar's website and tell me whether a Thomas Liddle married a Jane Robinson in Sunderland during the September quarter of 1879.

I don't seem able to get in to it!

I cannot get past the 'yes' tab. Nothing happens - maybe it is just this laptop that I am using!

It appears that they hold the certificates for two people called Thomas Liddle who married in 1879. One married a Jane Davison and the other a Jane Robinson,

Thanks! I just needed to confirm that Thomas had married a Jane Robinson. I got the information from freebmd and needed to be certain that it was Thomas who married her and not James Shaw who was also on the page!

In what way have they changed it? I just did a marriage search and was able to find the name of the spouse as before

Did you have to confirm with a 'yes' or a 'no' before you were allowed to search their records?
I know previously you didn't have to do this.
Once you have access, the format appears as before.

I just couldn't get through on this laptop - although strangely I can at work!

You have to confirm that you want to proceed.
On the next page confirm that the events occurred in Sunderland
Then click 'Next'   
On the next page click 'add certificate'
On the next page do the search.
When you get the search results click on the + beside each one and you get the name of the spouse
