Hothfield baptism

   Does anyone have access to the registers of Hothfield? I have found a baptism in Findmypast of John Tong on 27th Feb 1731, but the original is not available to view. I am hoping this means Feb. 1731, old style, as the likely parents were married 25th May 1731!

The transcriptions I have give John's baptism as 27th Feb 1731, parents John & Elizabeth TONG.

   Thanks Betty - I guess I shall have to find the original to be certain. Looks like a trip to the Cathedral Archives sometime.
