This post is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws. Unfortunately my preferred method of writing (Parker Quink on Basildon Bond) cannot be used.

I've had a quick look at the 1900 and 1890 Post Office Directories for Glasgow - the 1890 has 2 John Bryan neither of whom is listed as a publican / licensee or licensed victualler the 1900 Directory has no John Bryans listed.

1870 & 1880 only have one John Bryan and he is one of the two in the 1890 directory (a church officer for Landsdowne Road Church)

1860 has only a Mrs John Bryan, painter, 63 Dale Street Tradeston

1850 has a John Bryan but he is listed as Cumnock Carrier

1840 has nothing.

What do you have on John Bryan and why are you trying to find him?
