Trade Directories
« on: Sunday 25 November 07 10:23 GMT (UK) »
Would anyone have a Trade Directory or similar for Glasgow around 1800? I am trying to find Archibald Kerr a Joiner or Wright.
Kerr, Cannon, Antrobus, Clark, McLean, McInroy, Jackson, McLeod.
All in the Greenock area from 1790 on.

This post is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws. Unfortunately my preferred method of writing (Parker Quink on Basildon Bond) cannot be used.

the 1801 directory has an Archibald Ker, manufacturer, Hutcheson Street.

The 1805 has an Archibald ker  at William Allans, Candleriggs

The 1810 has Archibald ker  at Wm Allans, Cochrane Street.
