Hi
Looking for any information with regard to my Great Great Grandmother Jane E Phibben nee Phillips.
I believe she died in 1904 in Clifton,Bristol.

I would like any info of where she could be buried please?

Much Appreciated  :)

Hi skaramoosh

She could be buried at Arnos Vale. There is a website but they charge for look ups.

http://www.arnosvale.org.uk/cemetery-services

However, if you have her actual date of death (her death is recorded Oct/Nov/Dec 1904), they have put the Book of Remembrance on line and you could look through the images to see if you can find her. Not everyone is listed though.

Other than than, Bristol City Council have a list of cemeteries here but before you contact them you should obtain her actual date of death if you don't already have it.

Good Afternoon
I assume you have the census from 1861 and her marriage to Charles in 1853 so here's the earlier Jane born 1826 .
This looks like the Phillips family at Compton Pauncefoot in 1851
George Phillips 51 ag lab Compton Pauncefoot
Elizabeth 48  Charlton Horethorne, Somerset
Jane 25 Compton Pauncefoot
Henry 22 ag lab same
Charles 18 ag lab
Susan 16
John  14 ag lab
Elizabeth 8 scholar
Robert 6 same
Alfred 4 same

The 1841 gives an extra son William born 1830.
Her parents seem to have married at C.P. 6.2.1826
George Phillips and Elizabeth Dight
witnesses Charles Dight and Hannah Brain
Baptisms there for children,all labourer
Jane 9.4.1826
Emma 25.12.1827
Henry 25.12.1828
William 25.12.1830
Charles 25.12.1832
Susan 25.1.1835
John 9.4.1837
Robert 20.10.1839 -29.12.1842
George 13.4.1842
Elizabeth 5.3.1843
Robert 8.12.1844

George buried 5.2.1864 age 63

I'm afraid my times running out on my Library computer so that's all I can do for now
Compton Pauncefoot is on the Somerset on line clerks so you can take a look for yourself.
ps Betty Dyte bapt 19.9.1802 to John and Jane at C.H. also on somerset on line clerks
