WEBB George Illegitimate! - Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

My 3rd GG Father George Webb married to Elizabeth Jenkins is listed as Illegitimate on my 2nd GG Fathers death Certificate, James Charles Webb B 1856 Tewkesbury died Dunedin, New Zealand.  Any further information on the Webb side or Jenkins (ropemaker) side would be greatly appreciated.  I did read online that a number of Webb's are from Bushley, Gloucestershire?

All born Bristol

1861 James is born c 1857 Bath, Somerset
George/Elizabeth are still born Bristol and Georges Occp is the same.

Possible for Elizabeth;
Elizabeth JENKENS, Christened 23 September 1832, Bristol, Gloucester, England
