Looking for death of George Brownlees possibly born 1850.

Hi, There is only 1 MI for the name Brownlees in Greenlaw and it is George but he was born about 1775.....died 1868 aged 93, (wife Elizabeth Johnston.) Farmer Hume Mill

I found 1 Brownlees in Greenlaw M.I....
By George Brownlees in Easter Harlaws.
his Son Daniel died Aug 27 1819 age 4 1/2
his Dau Katherine Jan 1 1821 age 8
his Dau Jane  died Feb 13 1842 age 15.
his wife Elizabeth Johnston died May 31 1862 age 85.
George Brownlees,farmer at Hume Mill died Aug 23 1868 age 93
his Dau Isabella died Mar 4 1886 age 65
Catherine,eldest Dau died Mar 1 1897  age 73
Elizabeth died Jun 30 1906 88

Thank you Terry and ajjbc, this George could possibly be a brother to my ancester William Brownlees born 1787.

I was only guessing at the age of Williams father,  if he is not buried in Greenlaw maybe he also came to England like William but I don't somehow think that is very likely.

Whom did William b.1787 marry?

When did he move to England and do you have his death certificate confirming parentage?

Hello Bethan I can't be sure but I believe he married Mary Meyrick in 1817.

I don't know when he moved to England.

English death certificates do not give parents names I'm afraid.

How about a marriage certificate? Does that link William to the 1787 William born in Greenlaw?
