Convent near Newton Abbot
« on: Saturday 13 June 09 22:42 BST (UK) »
Hi All,
Has anyone any info on St Michaels Convent at Ilsington. My mother  went there in the 1930's and as she has long since departed this life I would love to find out more about her old school or means of contacting someone that may have information. Many thanks

That's great Maureen. I only got my photo because a friend was throwing it away, with others, and I thought that will be of interest to someone.
Glad you have the book.
Best Wishes,
Jane

Hi. I'm trying to find out information about my gran (shirley ann mccue) - we believe that she was born in 1937, she was an orphan and was put in a convent in Newton Abbott. Does anyone have any leads that we can follow up?? I've no idea where to start!
