Joseph Steel 1863 where is he post 1881?

This topic is similar to another topic I posted, but this is regarding a different branch of the Steel family and a different family altogether

Joseph is living with his family in 1881,

Mary Steel    Daughter    F    21    Faugh, Cumberland, England

Jane Steel    Daughter    F    15    Low Moor, Cumberland, England
Ellen Steel    Daughter    F    13    Allenwood, Cumberland, England
William Steel    Grand Son    M    6    Corry House, Cumberland, England
Emily Steel    Grand Daughter    F    1    Corry House, Cumberland, England

However, I cannot seem to find after this census, in the 1891, 1901 or 1911 censuses

It is possible that he may have died before the 1891 census, but I cannot find any compatible deaths. Any help in finding him after 1881 would be appreciated

That looks remarkably like the family you were given on this thread in reply 8/9

It is. I located a death date for Joseph and Jane at 1901 and 1889 respectively.

It looks like Joseph is absent in 1891, either he has moved away with his own family or died
