Alexander Innes born 1808

Someone had posted a message for Alexander Innes born in 1808 but cannot find it now, so here goes:

Alexander Innes was born in 1808 the only child of William Innes and ??Grant. I believe this was in Inveravon, Banff, Scotland. William Innes remarried and this time it was with Janet Cameron.

The person who made the posting said that her link was with the daughter of Alexander Innes named Anne.

I would like to get in touch with anyone who might be linked to this family .

William, did you get my message in which I drew your attention to

As someone has taken the trouble to walk up there and photograph the buildings, it would be good to know that you have seen them.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Freereg have comprehensive records on Inveravon including this 1809 baptismal entry:

They don't have an 1808 but SP have one for William Innes and Margaret Grant.  They also have the 1809 which appears to be between William Innes and Penuel Innes.  Don't have any credits to be sure.
