I have the same Andrew Shrive in my Tree. however, I have come up against the same problem.
Under a record for Richard Shrive and one site 2004-2006 Genfam.com states that Elizabeth's maiden name was "Laborer" and gives Richard Shrive 'Laborer' I can find no proof that this is a surname. It is possible that the 'laborer' is their occupations???
1593 January 20 - Richard Shrive - The first christening Shrive record in the Burton Latimer Parish records is that of a Richard the son of Andrew and Elizabeth Shrive who was christened at the Parish church (St Mary the Virgin) of Burton Latimer on 20 January 1593.
Parent’s marriage - This record in the Parish register, and the lack of any mention of older children suggests that Andrew was married a little before 1593. As you say. This record represents the first indication in Burton Latimer of any of the ‘Shrive’ family.
