Looking for more information on Richard childs I know he married in 1831. To Mary Evans.

The family are in the 1851 census

Married in 1831 they would have been very young. Also seems no children till George 1846

Had a look on familysearch and freereg could not find anything for Richard.

Still alive in 1881, looks like her last child was by Thomas, she is a widow

Ok thanks next step is to look for thomas ad Mary Matthews in the 1871-1891 census return. I think

1871 and 1881 is above, will check 1891

EDIT  Cannot locate in 1891. Thomas (son) is married in 1891, living in same household as 1881, Mary is not with him.

The right reg district for where living 1881 census. Bridgnorth      

Her ages are all over the place in census.  There are a few deaths both Mathews and Matthews, but think it maybe hard to determine which is her without viewing the certs/info.

Richard childs b 1809 burwarton Shropshire so that should be easy to find.

There are three Mary Matthews between 1881-1891
