Hi Elizabeth,

Thanks, my ancestors Twizel would be the one on the A1 as it says on the census that they were in the township of Adderstone.

Thanks again for the info  :)

Hi, Thanks for the image - i think its the right one :) They first turned up in Twizel Mill on the 1861 census. In the house there was Thomas Keen (b. abt. 1780) who was grandfather to John (b. 1827) and his wife, Elizabeth (b. 1837 - nee. Dodds) Richardson and at that point they had only one child, Thomas Keen Richardson (born in 1860 and said to be in Twizel Mill on the census).

John and Elizabeth were still living there in 1871 with 4 children: Thomas Keen (b. 1860), George Dodds (b. 1861), Sarah Jane (b. 1863) and John (b. 1865); according to this census all the children but John, who was said to be born in Alnwick, were listed as being born in Twizel Mill.

Almost all this branch of the family lived around Twizel Mill; mostly in Adderstone, Warenford and Newstead.

Thanks for all the help, its really appreciated
emfranky.
