Trying to trace any info on the Severn Family.


JOHN SEVERN was born 1830 in Basford,Nottingham, and died Bef. 1881.  He married SARAH ?.  She was born 1838 in Basford,Nottingham,Notts.

   i.   ELIZABETH2 SEVERN, b. 1858, Basford,Nottingham.
   ii.   SARAH ANN SEVERN, b. 1860, Basford,Nottingham.

JONATHAN SEVERN (JOHN) was born 1871 in Basford,Nottingham,Notts.  He married EMMA ?.  She was born 1871 in Nottingham,Notts.

ALFRED SEVERN (JONATHAN, JOHN) was born 1892 in Nottingham,Notts.  He married BLANCHE BURROWS, daughter of EDWIN BURROWS and ELIZABETH ?.  She was born 1885 in Eastwood,Notts.

Hi Trevor,

have you considered this may be a second marriage for Sarah and possibly not all those children belong to John Severn? I ask because I couldn't find them on an initial search of the 1861.

What I did find :-

Hi, I'm searching my Johnson side, and thought I would let you know my 4x g gparents were Richard Severn(s) and Elizabeth (?maiden name) Their daughter Sarah married William Johnson in June 1805
in Eastwood.  (LDS source film number 504091) Sarah's siblings included Hannah (b1771) and Joseph B1774 (he died age 22 years).
