 Oooo That's very interesting information Truebrit, thank you. I'll have to contact my relative who gave me the information I have. I too have March 25 as the day of John and Sarah's marriage. We also have some of the marriages of their children and John is cited as their father. Time for a rethink....
Thank you again for the info  :)

It may of course be a transcription error and therefore if anyone here could check the original record to confirm names that would be great.

All the best

Thanks Annie
I was wondering if it could be a transcribing error too. Can I ask if you found the entry for this marriage online? I have searched the FreeReg and familysearch and so far found nothing. I'm not sure where else I can look.

Thanks again
Karen  :)

1841 Census has a Sarah Timbrell born 1776 in Sheeepy Parva, NOT born in County
Next door is a Charles Timbrell age 25 and Wife
+ her Son Thomas and Wife Jane and Family

I have no idea if this Charles is related but he has a second Marriage Reg March 1854, Atherstone, 6d 355, to Dorothy BASSET, they are already living as Husband/Wife in 1851 Census in Sheepy.

F/S has;
Thomas TIMBUL Christened 19 October 1800, Sheepy Magna to JOHN/SARAH
+
JOHN and MARY Timbrel, 15 March 1811, Sheepy M, Mother SARAH Timbrel

This may be Mary in 1841 in Hinkley, Leics;
John Hasbrook, 30
Mary Hasbrook, 30
William Hasbrook, 15
Sarah Hasbrook, 12
George Hasbrook,9
Ann Hasbrook, 2

John HASBROOK Married Mary TIMBREL, 16 Nov 1824, Sheepy Magna (F/S.Org)

1851 they are under ALSBROOK and Mary is born c 1802 Sheepy

Thank you for the information Trish. Most of it was past onto me my a distant cousin except the 1851 census with Mary and John Hasbrook/Alsbrook. That was a great find thank you. Mary's birth however differs a bit from the info I have but it slots in nicely with Sarah's other children. My Timbrell research it becoming somewhat of an interesting story and a great challenge.

Thanks again
Karen :)

Thank You Willsy
That is fantastic information that I didn't have. Did you happen to notice the year they were baptised? Information I have has Thomas being the eldest brother. If you happen to find any other Timbrells baptised before 1812 I'd be most interested in their info as well..

Many thanks. Much appreciated
