Pretty sure this is the right family because there is a marriage of Isaac Caddick aged 27 in 1867 at St Lukes with father Isaac who is a varnish maker and is on the 1871 census I mentioned

Yes thats the family I have found them in 1841 in Princess Alley although for some reason Isaac snr isnt listed with them and Isaac jnr is just 5 months old which is how I found them. Their oldest child is Sarah aged 17

Princess Alley still exists its round the corner from where I work

We must be on same wavelength -- I used google map to find Princess street / alley earlier and I've viewed
http://www.wolverhamptonhistory.org.uk/resources/indexes   ---
Wolverhampton St Peter's Baptisms 1813-1875 A-Ed and found the baptism for Isaiah
so why has he been baptised Isaiah and registered as Silas? ???

I have found a Marriage ( the only one  I can find on line) for Isaac Caddick and Sarah Fellows in Liverpool in November 1821 and in the 1841 census an Isaac Caddick and a Silas Caddick ( a Japanner and  Varnish maker) in Cheapside Liverpool. will see if I can find Sarah living on her own .

And on the 1841 census Isaac and Silas appear to be living with a William Kendrick,
