Hello

My great, great grandmother Lily Hanniford was born in Stoke on Trent in 1896 and later married Adam Brain in 1913 in Stoke on Trent

Would anyone please help in finding her death date? It is possible that she remarried a man named Wilmer Harvey in Wakefield and died in 1927 aged 31 in Wakefield, but I am not sure that this is the same Lily born in Stoke on Trent

The marriage to Wilmer Harvey has this information on freebmd
Marriage September qtr 1925   
Harvey    Wilmer D L    Brain    Wakefield    9c   139    
Harvey    Wilmer D L    Hanniford    Wakefield    9c   139

This would indicate that Lily has been known by both surnames.

If you search Wilmer D L Harvey on freebmd it indicates that he remarried in June qtr 1928 so they either split or Lily died. The second marriage for Wilmer should indicate if he was widowed

This Lily Harvey died in 1927, so its entirely plausible for Wilmer to remarry in 1928.

I will need to get the certificates to confirm
