Is there such a place?
« on: Tuesday 16 September 14 04:17 BST (UK) »
St Laurence, Evesham, Stafford, England.  Tried to do a google search but it came up with Worcestershire.
If there is such a place is it close to St Mary Stafford?

I first looked for Evesham and it did take me to Worcester. So I tried St Laurence Parish and found two but not in Stafford. 1. Ludlow Shropshire and 2. Frodsham Cheshire.sorr cannot be of further help. I looked thru all the towns and parishes in Stafford and nothing came close to your question.

St Lawrence churches in Staffordshire:-
Gnosall - about 7miles from Stafford
Biddulph - in the Staffordshire Moorlands a long way from Stafford
Coppenhall  - a chapelry to Penkridge church

Thank you.  It did seem strange for this to show on a christening record as I have never heard of it before.  Gnosall would make sense.
