There are 2 families in Kilkenny in the 1911 census, do any of the names mean anything to you?

I have a William Ringwood Born Circa 1842 In Kilkenny Married Alice Stirling (her Father was Myles Patrick sterling/stirling)in 1868 In Dublin   Williams Father Was Richard   The Ringwood Family appear to Be from around Johnstown In Kilkenny..Possible connection to a Direct  Steele Family From Queens Co and wexford

Do you have the land records showing for Richard Ringwood in townlands near Johnstown Kilkenny?
findmypast.ie (paysite) has a number of references.
Bawnballinlough (2 miles from Johnstown) Lease Mar 1819 Richard Ringwood from Earl of Courtown to Richard Ringwood for the lives of Richard Steele William Jacob and Thomas Steele  aged about 50 years.

Rathpatrick (also about 2 miles from Johnstown)Lease 1819  3 Mar 197 acres to Richard Ringwood for lives of Richard Steele son of John Steele of Kyle , Samuel Ringwood son of William Ringwood of Granige and William Little son of John Little of Balliquiddihy
William Ringwood is showing in the townland of Rathpatrick in Griffith's Valuation
and this is possibly a son of William and Alice Stirling

Cashel Apr- Jun 1907 vol 3 page 341 and an Elizabeth Margaret Burland on the same page.

Thanks for all that...Very Interesting    I have also a Direct STEELE line in Ireland that were in Kilkenny/Wexford etc ...One of My Steele Lines went to grenada and Tobago and Trinidad , established plantations there  Richard steele born circa 1770 in Ireland   Family were from around Kyle  And Richard Named One of His Sons with a Middle Name Of Ringwood  Soo Im thinking that a Steele Married a Ringwood Back in Ireland
But of course need proof
