Bastardly order
« on: Sunday 13 July 14 17:01 BST (UK) »
Hi
Would anyone know If it is possible to search on-line and if so where if a Bastardly order was taken out in Somerset.
My 3x grandmother  Fanny Woodbury had a son Alfred in 1843 in Taunton. On his birth certificate it names his father as William Miller labourer. In 1841 there are a couple of William Millers in the same area as Fanny who may the father but of course I have nothing to tie him to her. If she did take out an order would it give me anymore information on William?
Many Thanks
