Ruabon Marriage 1853

I wonder if someone has a copy of the Ruabon Parish Marriage Register for 1853.  If so could they please look something up for me.

I have found the marriage of Jonothan Jones and Elizabeth Davies on FindMyPast.  Both the Banns which were read in Oct 1853 and then the marriage on the Marriage index for the last quarter of 1853 but I cannot seem to find the actual marriage.  Of course I am assuming that as Banns were read and they were married shortly after - that the marriage took place in the Parish Church.

If its found please could you post the usual details .......thank you.   I'm hoping that his father is Thomas  (!)

To help narrow any search - Family Search shows the date as 5th December.   Christian name spelt Jonathan - not Jonothan

Just got my Ruabon booklets out  (from Clwyd fhs). 

The marriage was as Carole says - 5th Dec 1853. Given the link that Carole has posted, it must be on FindMyPast. Have you tried clicking on the link?


Their  fathers' first names  were both Thomas and they were both colliers.  Jonathan was a puddler. Both of Cefn mawr.

Have now checked FindMyPast - do have subs and have found it.  Must have been doing something wrong first.

Have now found his parents marriage - Thomas and Mary considering they were Jones' have found quite a bit out about them
