Does anyone have the passenger/crew list for the Rangatira's maiden voyage to Australia? It was built in Govan shipyards in Glasgow for the Australasian Steam Navigation Company and departed from Scotland on the 1st December 1859 arriving in Sydney on the 7th April 1860.
I am hoping that the information discovered that a Robert Findley/Findlay was aboard as ? crew/passenger is correct.
He would have been quite young, around 13 or so but may have been in the company of his father of the same name or another person.

There is a Robert FINDLEY indexed as  aged 3 years, discharged from the Randwick Asylum for Destitute Children on 24 April 1862.  Also discharged on same date is a Mary Ann FINDLEY, 10 years, Thomas FINDLEY 9 years, Eliza FINDLEY 7 years.  Perhaps there’s further info on the files, as I have only looked at the index
