broomhills farm, wamphray

I have been trying to find a picture of Broomhills Farm,near WAMPHRAY, DUMFRIESHIRE  My Hamilton family lived there about 1820,but nothing is coming up on googlemaps ,Does anyone live near there, and does it still exist ?

Whilst you will not get a photograph of the farm this way, it is worthwhile looking at the National Library of Scotland maps website. That will give you free access to older maps of Scotland, including very detailed Ordnance Survey ones. These maps can be viewed with various modern overlays, allowing you to change from the old map to a new one, or a satellite image. It will show you changes in the immediate area.

Hi, yes Broomhills still exists. Friends of mine live in it.
