WW11 Naval Prisoners of War

Hello All,
Does anyone know of any websites where I might be able to find information about Royal Navy personnel from WW11 who were held as prisoners of war in Italy? Sadly, I don't know the name of the ship which my Father served on which makes things very difficult.
I've tried to google every combination I can think of to find a site, but nothing is coming up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your help.

I have some information in my files re RN POW, However, the real expert on POW in Italy and elsewhere is ADM199. Do you wish to provide your father's full name and date of birth?
