Elizabeth Taylor 1844/45 Gillingham
« on: Sunday 30 November 14 09:09 GMT (UK) »
Born to Parents Thomas Taylor & Ann Maria Martin, I have been trying to get the above possible marriage, I came across 2 possibilities, 1862 Anthony Clough & Richard Greenslade ? I am not convinced on either..
Elizabeth is on census with parents in Everton Lancs 1861, but parents are back in Gillingham 1871

Any ideas please

John

There are online trees which suggest that she was married first in 1862 to Anthony Clough who died in 1864, and then married to Richard Greenslade in 1866.

The 1862 marriage certainly looks right - father a boatman in HM Customs.
