Hello Fingal
Once I have the reference number as you have given, it's really no bother at all.
I'll be in touch before the end of February.
Trish

Send me all you want. It's really no bother. I like Mount Jerome and it makes it more worth my while really to go over and do a good few than go all the way for one.

I am involved in photographing wargraves of soldiers who died while serving in the British, Australian, South African and New Zealand armies in WWI and II, so anything that takes me wandering round the cemetery is welcome. 'My boys' often hide out in family plots, so I like to explore new parts of the cemetery.

your kindness is a treasure.... I spent a lot of time in Harold's Cross & Kimmage as a boy... I wet my feet many times in the Poddle... I remember the draining of the lake/Quarry on Sundrive Road... it is now a park... my late aunt Lolo had lots of connections in the area and is buried with my uncle in
Mt. Jerome as indeed are her parents. My grandparents are also buried there....

Photos required

Patrick Hyland    grave no.16 section.A427  year 1928

Many Thanks

I will probably be going over during the week beginning the 20th February.

If there is anyone else with a grave reference that wants a photo taken, just post here or send a private message.

Mixed news from Mount Jerome.

Cando - found your graves and will be emailing the photos in a minute.

Fingal - no sign of any headstones with your names on them. I will go back again at a time when there are more staff about in case I was in the wrong section, but I couldn't find them.
Sorry.
