Hazles in Kirkoswald
« on: Wednesday 16 July 14 00:01 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a baby's grave. Her name was Margaret Hazle and she was born in 1807 in Kirkoswald. I know a second child was given the same name in the same family in 1808. The second girl survived and married Alexander MacMaster. I am assuming that the first daughter died in infancy. I cannot find a death record and am hoping to locate a grave. The parents were John Hazle and Margaret Graham. Most of the family is buried either in the Kirkoswald Cemetery or Kirkmichael Cemetery. Some may be in Maybole. Kirkoswald would the most likely. Can anyone help with this? I would love to find this little baby, and I'm too far away in California!

Have you been in touch with the local family history society as the name HAZLE appears on their index.  See http://www.asafhs.co.uk/publications_names.php?c=H
