John Wright Crosby & Margaret Crellin, Liverpool

John and Margaret married on 12 December 1855 in Liverpool.  I think he was a Brewery Owner and they had the following children in Liverpool:-

These 3 are the only children I know something about:-

James Crellin Crosby (1856 -1929) - went to Australia and married in Bendigo in 1888.  Any information regarding his time in Australia especially when he left the UK would be gratefully received.

Margaret Alice Crosby (1857 - 1925) - never married no issue, lived Liverpool

Jane Crellin Crosby (1860 - 1889) - never married no issue, lived Liverpool

I know nothing about the 4 youngest children

Thomas Crellin Crosby (1861), Elinor Crosby (1865) , John Henry Crosby (1869) and Edith Mary Crosby (1872).

Any information would be gratefully received particularly about the younger children.

John Wright Crosby remarried in 1887, aged 54, to my great grandfather's cousin, Margaret Evans Gardham, who was 25 at the time.

John Wright Crosby happens to be my 3rd Great Grandfather. His son John Henry Crosby is my 2nd Great Grandfather. Died 1949 in Farnham, Surrey. It appears he may have married twice, once to someone named Marion. The marriage in which I am descended from was to Mary Robertson Lauder. My Great Grandfather was Robert Lauder Crosby, the 2nd of 4 boys (all born in Scotland - Perthshire and Kincardineshire I believe). He married Eva Alice Florence Verstage. He was born in 1896 and died in 1975 in Perth, Australia. She was born in Godalming, Surrey in 1902 and died in 1977 in Busselton, Australia.

Edith Mary Crosby married Mark Whiteway Ball and  they were my grandparents. I knew them both. (I am in my 80's)
I would be interested to know more of what you know about Margaret Crellin in particular.
