« on: Saturday 23 August 14 11:53 BST (UK) »
If any member has knowledge of the graveyard at Garston Parish Church(under the bridge) could they advise if it had a communal section set aside and if so were about it would be.

Hiya Geoff - I presume you mean St Michaels ?...I live 200 metres away ...
let me know the name / year of who you are looking for and I will pop down and have a look for you tomorrow weather permitting ...
I visit the graveyard frequently and I am not aware of a Communal Area

Good Morning Allen,
the names I am looking at are Havard and Whatling. The last name we were in touch about some time ago.The time span is 1898 to 1909.

Thanks for your offer.

The names I am looking at:
William Whatling  circa 1905

Thomas Havard,Anne Lee Havard,Jessie Havard

I hope when you pop into the pub it is only for a swift half, can't have the gravy going hard on the plate while it simmers on the pan awaiting your return  ;D

Brilliant Blue ...thanks for the tip
William Lee Whatling buried 26th April 1904 aged 29 at St Michaels  from 15 Shakespeare St
William Lee Whatling buried 18th july 1899 aged 8 months at St Michaels  12 Shakespeare St
William Thomas Whatling buried 25th August 1904 aged 17 months  at St Michaels ...15 Shakespeare
I wonder if the 8 months old is a mistranscription and should also be 15 Shakespeare and not 12 ?
BUT ...
you have really frustrated me now because My G Grandfather and GG Grandfather are both buried at St Michaels ....and I have never seen a headstone for them ...but at least I now know they are in there somewhere...
20th jan 1904 is gg grandfather
3rd dec 1925 is g grandfather .....I wonder if they are both in the same grave .....?
