Thank you Yvonne  :)  I think I see something different with every one that is posted. On yours I see the letters ...J O R D...

Ok Carol and Wiggy I'll give it a try. Have seen that on my old scanner but not on this one. Maybe I should have spent a bit more  ;D

Thank you Carolyn - I'm astounded at all the details that show up on your contribution - and the frame is a lovely touch.  :)

Quite amazing the work all of you restorers do. It is most appreciated.

I've spent some time trying to get a better scan in the hopes that if there is a sign on the side of the wagon it may show up. I still can't make it out and wonder if it was painted over.

Great suggestion Brit2015  :)  Thank you.

Now that you point it out I think I can see the  H O P, and maybe the S before it. But I still can't make out anything before that. The O is only letter I see clearly. For a while I was thinking the number 45 was just to the right of the lamp.

Haven't been able to identify these two but since the photo was part of my Mother's collection, I've always thought it was associated with Burton-on-Trent, Staffs. I'll do some googling and see where it leads.

Does anyone have an idea on the date of the photo?

Just bringing this one back up to the top of the pile  :)

Does anyone have an idea on the date this photo would have been taken?

I have a photo of a boy wearing a very similar wide collar dated 1900-1910 - so somewhere there maybe?
