Restoring newspaper photo

Hi everyone,

Is it possible for someone to have a go at improving the quality of this newspaper cutting of my Great Uncle Willie who was killed in WW1.

There is not much to work with here!
The 1st photo is the best I could restore it.
The 2nd is based on this and letting my imagination run riot.

Thank you Pat. Your restoration is much better than what I had originally.  It least I can see more clearly what Uncle Willie looked like.

Hi Joy and welcome...can you tell us where you got the newspaper cutting from or give details of his name and where he lived to see if a better copy and be found...I don't think the original cutting would have been this colour.
