Exeter Photographer looking for WWI stories, items etc to use for Project

Hi - I am a 2nd year photography degree student in Exeter and have been asked to produce some images relating to WWI and how it affected Exeter. I wondered if anyone has anything in terms of a family story, old photographs, memorabilia, uniforms etc. which I could carefully photograph and use for this project - everything will be returned safely and in most cases within the hour. Some of the final images will be displayed at Exeter Central Station in August this year.

If you feel you might be able to help me or can suggest where I could look, I would be ever so grateful.
