McKenzies of Dalmore (1700s)
« on: Monday 25 August 14 22:40 BST (UK) »
Is there a link between McKenzie of Dalmore and the McKenzie families in Rinancoillach, Blair Atholl parish in Perthshire?

In the early 1700s, one of the McKenzies of Rinancoillach accepted a bill issued by George McKenzie, brother of Dalmore, Factor to the Earl of Aboyne.

Also, John, Dalmore's son was visiting Rinancoillach in 1722.

We understand that Dalmore was the old name for the present day Marr Lodge estate.

Any help would be appreciated
