Before anyone starts searchung, do fill us in with what you have aleady, so no-one wastes time finding what you already have.

For example - Have you got him on any censues? Or the son.
I take it you have the sons marriage cert. How old was he at marriage, have you got him on any censues pre marriage, if so was he with father Mark?
Have you got a birth cert for the son - if so what is his mums name and maiden name? etc etc

Is Barbara Lynn born about 1829, baptised in Kelloe St. Helen, of Blackgate d/o Robert Lynn, labourer, and Mary Bell?

Was Thomas born around 1828?  maybe Chilton?  Baptised Merrington St. John the Evangelist 19 Aug 1828 s/o Mark Jameson, hind, and Elizabeth?

The 1849 marriage cert of Thomas should therefore be able to rule that one in or out - if dad Mark is a publican on it then it looks likely (as he was one both 8 yrs before and 2 yrs after)
