Hi

We really need a lot more info than just "The Vince family"- what years are involved, what are their christian names, birthyears and birthplaces (but not of anybody still alive)

Exactly what type of information are you looking for

Can you also tell us what you already know about them please so we don't waste time duplicating info.

If you already have all available census and BMD info - please tell us

Hi

Sorry it was a general inquiry about the Vince family from that area, as I'm hoping to trace some living ancestors.

Here are a few more details: I'm interested in contacting the living descentants of the following:

Alfred Leslie Vince bn Warfield Berks 1904
Albert Richard Vince bn Winkfield 1900
William John Vince bn Winkfield 22/2/1898

I  have all the census returns for the above and details of their marriages.

Kind regards
Peter

Hi there Peter,

I noticed your post regarding the Vince family who lived in and around the Easthampstead/Bracknell Berks area.

You talked about living relatives of William John Vince, Albert Richard Vince & Alfred Leslie Vince.

I am related to these people I believe, as my 2x Great Grandmother was their sister, her name was Ellen Elizabeth Vince born in Jan 1884 in Warfield and died in 1962. This would make the people you were referring to my 2nd Great Grand Uncle's.

My own Grandmother who is still alive and was born in 1943, knew her Gran Ellen Vince well.

Ellen Elizabeth Vince married Jack Price Hayward on 7th August 1911.

According to my family tree research the Vince family consisted of:

Charles Vince born 1859 died 1945

Ellen Burgess born 1861 died 1929

Children:

Agnes Vince born 1881 died 1964

Charles Vince born 1882 died 1955

Clara Vince born 1886 died 1947

Elizabeth Amy Vince born 1889 died 1951 - My 2x Great Grandmother

Florence Alice Vince born 1891 died 1971

Frank Vince born 1894 died 1915

William John Vince born 1895 died 1978

Arthur George Vince born 1896 died 1900

Albert Richard Vince born 1900 died 1962

Alfred Leslie Vince born 1904 died 1968

Dorothy Vince born 1907 died 1908

Hope this would be of interest to you and wondered if you were related to these people. I have never been able to find many records of the vince's photos/certificates etc.

Many Kind Regards

James

If we have the correct one, he married a Betty Bishop, had 2 children both still alive today.....Let me know if we have the correct Albert Vince you are looking for, and I can update you further......

Kind regards
