Uttoxeter baptism please

Hi all

If anyone has access to Uttoxeter baptisms I am interested to see if there is any additional information on this one please

Thomas Kent 3 March 1719 to John & Mary.

Very sorry, but I could find no trace of a baptism for Thomas Kent in the parish registers of St Mary, Uttoxeter.  As the fiche was not very legible, I took the opportunity to look at the Bishop's Transcripts - again there is no sign of a baptism on 3 March 1719.

None in Staffordshire baptisms for Uttoxeter. There are these two: -

1718 Thomas son of Henry & Elizabeth at Alton St Peter
1718 Thomas son of Thomas & Mary at Croxden.

I presume you got it from familysearch.org

I suggest you contact them to see if they will supply you with a free image. Although it's doubtful there would be any more info.

GENUKI says that the only other church in Uttoxeter in 1719 is the Society of Friends chapel in Carter Street, and that records are deposited at the Public Record Office - so possibly now TNA at Kew.
