Just dropped in quickly to thank everyone who has provided information. I will hopefully get a chance to go thru it all tomorrow. Had an 11 hour work day yesterday and it looks like I am up for another today.

Effie Lorma Ryan was born Ministers Cove NS 31 May 1864 to John Ryan & Ann Stewart. Ann Stewart was the illegitamate daughter of Leonard Conrad & Susan Stewart. Effie immigrated to the USA from Port Medway NS in 1868 & settled in Gloucester MA. She married John Franklin Vautier 8 Jun 1885 & had 1 daughter Hazel Oneita Vautier. They then divorced & Effie married Grenville Williams, a veternarian in Boscawen NH. Effie died 7 Jul 1920 in Franklin NH. Meanwhile back in Gloucester John F Vautier lived with Effie Sophia (Kinney / Kenney) Cordeau & they had Esther Franklin Vautier 30 Oct 1912. Between 1920 & 1930 John Vautier married Effie S Cordeau.

Looking at the actual image of the Massachusetts marriage index, it appears that the 1921 marriage was between John F. Vautier and Effie S. Cordeau in Gloucester.  Bonaventure was a mistranscription.
