Hi Suzilad

Many thanks for your time and effort.  Much appreciated.

Probably explains why I have had so much difficulty locating an y burial records .. Funeral private.  For all that some local authority will have the record somewhere.

Still what I have now is still a valuable record and more then known before.

Much appreciated, thank you.

Hello New Zealander
I know this post is completed, however I have found possible cremation dates for Robert and his wife Christina. Death dates match but no middle names are given.
Seafield Crematorium, Edinburgh
Robert Bryce: Date of death 30 May 1981, Cremation 2 June 1981
Christina Bryce: Death of death 22 Sept 1992, Cremation 25 Sept 1992
If you log onto   www.deceasedonline.com   you will be able to view the cremation register. Information about cremations is free, however viewings of register cost £1-50(buy credits). Put Scotland into the country box and Edinburgh into the county box.
Hope you receive this information.

Monica

Yes I guess that is so true.  The joy of all this is that I will also be over in Scotland and Aberlady in April / May.  It gives it so much more meaning.

Cheers

Hi Aex,

Aberlady one of my favourite places, the Parish Church, the Bowling Club, I used to love the Greencraigs Restaurant and Maguires chip shop.  I hope you enjoy your visit.
