I had a look at the IGI for Uffington and could only find a Titchener marriage?
An Obadiah Tetchener m. a Mary Besley in 1783.

I did find c. records for 2 of their children at Compton Beauchamp.... a William (1784) and an Ann (1786)?

One of the grandchildren of William was named Obadiah, so this might well be family!

It was Compton beauchamp. I have the PRs on Cd and looked them up. Found the marriage for Obadiah on the IGI.

After finding the c. recs for William and Ann, I realized that Ann Titchener was also linked into my tree through her marriage to William Varney, at Compton Beauchamp in 1807.  Their children were c. at SIV.....

I have had a quick look at the Coleshill PRs on the IGI, but sadly don't see a Robert....
I had hoped to find him there, as he isn't listed at Compton Beauchamp.

We have an Obadiah Titchener at CB, who m. Hannah Hayward and they had a number of children. Obadiah was c. 9 Feb 1813; his parents were Robert and Frances or Fanny?

It would be nice to be able to link this family, to my William and Ann Titchener at SIV? There were a few Obadiahs c. at Coleshill from 1726-1757, which is interesting.

The earliest Titchener record at SIV is a marriage in 1685 between a Marie Titchiner, from Sparsholt and a Henrie Weaveing of Highworth... so they probably all related somewhere down the line?
