Spruce up and date please.

Could someone just tidy this up so I can get a better look at it. I don't really mind what you do so feel free to have some fun with it but I would like just a straight clean up somewhere along the line.

Jim or China, if you are about, from the back I'm thinking 1870's and maybe late 1870's. Would that be about right. I know that the photographer, a Glaswegian, married a Shrewsbury gal in 1870 and worked in that town till 1901.

How about early 70s...before the rounded corners came along mid-decade or so.

Hi China, I was thinking earlier because of the corners but thought the design may be a bit later. I will however bow to your superior knowldge And yes he did tidy up very well indeed. It is an interesting photo and I am mighty pleased to have it.

Can anyone remove those spots. I know there are lots. I am thinking 1870's? I also labelled it 'huntsman' but looking at that crop in his hands I am more inclined to think coach driver, so thoughts on that welcome.

What a cracking photo!  Hope it's okay but I've got a violent thunderstorm happening around me at the moment and I keep expecting to see a tree come through the roof!  I have literally jumped out of my seat a couple of times as the thunder is that close and loud!
