He could well be a "whipper in" to a hunt, the whip he would carry being extra long.

Just to keep my mind off the thunder!  I also love a good storm, but not when it is directly overhead! Thankfully, it appears to have abated.   Queensland weather...just crazy!!!

Not sure about the frame so I can remove if you don't like it.

The Hon R.C. Hill succeeded his father as Master of the Shropshire Fox Hounds (no pic on wiki)  In 1875 he succeeded his father in the viscountcy and entered the House of Lords.
