There is no death on the NSW death index to 1983 and nothing on the Ryerson Index.  I am unable to identify him on the electoral roll. 

I wonder what he was in court for in 1950?  I am not familiar with the electoral regulations in the 1950 but today if you are serving a prison sentence of three years or longer you are not entitled to enrol and vote.
