Had a look around for Harry Mount aged 28 when he married in 1901 father Joseph deceased.

address on marriage was Annie's family home, witnesses were her brother and sister.

Harry given as born Portsmouth on census but no birth to match. There are 'Mount's' in Portsmouth that originate from Deal in Kent? Harry could be Henry or Horace ect.

Harry dies 1917?

I expect you have all this, but might help others to have a look for him.

Many thanks, Jennifer.  My search for Harry is on another thread http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=701236.msg5478461#msg5478461 which gives details as I know them.  I can't find him on any census or BMD record before his marriage in 1901.

All the best
Philip

It's been a while, but I may have identified the family group.

I believe them to be a family living in East Ham:
Albert Edwards born 1868 (a steam crane driver)
Amelia (wife) born 1865
Minnie born Dec qtr 1892
Amy born Jun qtr 1896
Albert born Sep qtr 1897
Harry born Dec qtr 1899

This would date the photograph to late 1899 or very early 1900.  Does this sound feasible?

And, as ever, huge thanks to everyone who has helped me.  :) :) :)

The dates sound about right so it looks like you have the right Family Philip.
