I haven't read all of the previous comments but I don't think that they are of the same girl..both lovely girls maybe sisters? Different eyes, shape of face, way hair is parted etc. Deb

Lovely photograph.   Sorry to butt in on an old thread but has anyone done any research on Alice M Gibson - Photographer?  I have a number of images with her mark on.  299 Holderness Road and some with 293 Holderness Road that have a more stylish signature typeface.   I found a newspaper article in 1914 she was advertising for a lady assistant and if it's the same lady she got a first in art at the local college.

Came across this thread whilst trying to figure out who another of my unknown photographs are.
