hi does any one know if some one was married 17th octotober 1810 if it would be in marriage bonds and allegations and also bishops transcripts

That's true for the bonds and allegations - all marriages ought to appear in the bishops transcripts, as they were supposed to be an exact copy of the register. (But since no-one's perfect, differences do sometimes occur.)

I meant that they would only appear in marriage bonds and allegations if they got married by licence, of course, it goes without saying, that all marriages would appear in the Bishop's Transcripts, unless they were married by special licence which allowed them to marry in any place and at any time.

hi they were married at st marys church gateshead , ... and i have the bans for the wedding naming the witnesses so do,es tthat meen they would also be in the bishops transcripts etc as i have searched and cant find them for 17 oct 1810

hi i have this allready and his bans with witnesses but i wanted to know if befor he got maarried in the church if he would of been any sort of bond or allergations , bishops transcripts etc or is what you showed me all there will be and nothing else as i have the bonds and allergations for a marriage for my other relative in 1796 and woundered if in 1810 the law changed

As far as I know there are no witnesses on a banns notice.

Banns and Allegations are only required if they married by licence
