Yup - I've tried those too & still cant find him.

Annoyingly there's no trace of his marriage to Elizabeth Nicholson either >:(

I've been looking for details of my ancestor William Snowball, b Wolsingham in 1797, and a search has brought up your message, which includes William. What details do you have of his parents?
Regards
Paul D

Hi Paul

I have his parents as William Snowball & Sarah Henderson, who married at Wolsingham on 21 Jun 1794.  I have that Sarah died 1807 and William then married Ann Heron the following year.

I have William Sr's death certificate if you want the details?

Looking at my notes I don't seem to have traced William Jr beyond his baptism - would you mind telling me who he married & when?

The William in my tree married Jane (surname yet to be discovered) and moved to Southwick in Sunderland. He worked as a husbandsman and cartman, and had nine children. I don't have the marriage date, but by the dates of their children's births I would guess at 1824 or 1825. Their sixth child, Mary, was born in Houghton le Spring in 1836 and subsequent births were in Southwick. Jane died about 1851.

Thanks - its a long time since I looked at this line but my notes against William Jr had a reference to him possibly being in Sunderland so it looks like I was on the right track.  Your post is probably a timely reminder that I need to re-visit this family.
