HI
Haven't been here for a while! ;D

I have a Spence family from Carnwath adn I can get back to William Spence and Margaret Brown, their kids being born between 1809 and 1822 in carnwath.  From death certs I see that William Spence was a serrif oficer but i can't find out anything about him.
Does anyone have any ideas??

Sheriff Officers were officers of the court and were employed to execute the orders of the court, enforcing court orders, serving warrants, and other legal documents and collecting debts.
